Amsterdam Centre for Transformative Private Law (ACT)

ACT is a vibrant and close-knit research community, which offers our members several opportunities to connect and share insights and perspectives on the law. ACT regularly organizes join seminars, conferences, workshops and other activities with these groups. Every two weeks, on the second and fourth Monday of the month ACT hosts an internal seminar series. These seminars are places where researchers—especially early career researchers and PhD candidates—can, and are encouraged to, share a work in progress with the ACT community. These seminars provide an opportunity to receive feedback within a comfortable and lively space. Once a month—every third Monday—ACT hosts a luncheon. ACT researchers are welcome to join the luncheon for camaraderie, brainstorming, and collaboration. Occasionally, a brown bag lunch series will also occur where research is shared casually over a meal. Curious about our upcoming events? Check out the list below.
