Giovanni Cirillo is a PhD Candidate and a research and teaching assistant at the University of Salerno, where he graduated in Law. His main field of expertise is Italian and European Private Law, with a particular focus on Contract and Obligation Law. He also deals with Labour Law and Social Security Law. His PhD research project is on data as counter-performance under a contract. During his time at the ACT he is working on the impact on this issue produced by Directive 2019/770/EU and Directive 2019/2161/EU, also in light of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
