Giorgio Mattarella  graduated in law in 2015 at the University of Palermo with full marks. In 2017 he began his PhD research in Human Rights: Evolution, Protection, Limits at the University of Palermo.

The topic of Giorgio's PhD thesis is The Financial Inclusion of Immigrants; in this work he focuses on the protection of weaker consumers due to language deficiency, economic vulnerability, discrimination in the provision of goods and services. He is  also a PhD candidate in co-supervision at the University of Valencia (PhD programme: Sostenibilidad y Paz en la Era Posglobal).
