David Pérez Millán is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commercial Law at Complutense University of Madrid, where he has been teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes since 2003.
After studying at Complutense University (1999), he wrote his PhD thesis at the University of Bologna (2003). He has been visiting researcher at the University of Munich, the Max Planck Institute of Munich and the London School of Economics.
David has written two books as well as several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His main areas of research are Corporate Law, Banking and Finance Law, as well as Insolvency Law. Many of his most recent publications deal in particular with Shareholders’ Agreements. Currently, his main interest is Corporate Governance, especially the powers of the Shareholders’ Meeting and the duties of Directors in different Jurisdictions.
