Celia Martínez Escribano is an Associate Professor of Law in the University of Valladolid (Spain). Her main areas of research are property and construction law, although she has published also some papers in other fields of Civil Law. She obtained the Extraordinary Award for her Graduate in Law at the University of Valladolid in 2000, and in 2003 she concluded her PhD in Law with the distinction “cum laude”. Then she started her academic career as Lecturer. In 2009 she became Associate Professor. Her research activities have been developed in Spain and abroad, as a visiting researcher in the BIICL in London (2010), Harvard University (2008 and 2006), University of Salzburg (2005), University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) (2002).
