Mattia Elia is a PhD researcher in European Union Law at the University of Bologna (Italy). He holds a master’s degree in European Legal Studies from the University of Turin. Before starting the PhD, Mattia worked as research assistant at the University of Turin in the Generative European Commons Living Lab. Mattia’s research interests include European fundamental rights, legislation on air ambient quality and the regulation of business secrets. My PhD thesis is about the freedom to conduct a business (Article 16 of the EU Charter).
