Jason Santos is an LLM and research candidate from the University of Cape Town under the supervision of Prof. Tjakie Naudé. His main research interests are in the law of obligations, Roman-Dutch law and legal philosophy. He is particularly interested in the ‘Huur Gaat Voor Koop’ rule and its comparative development in South Africa and the Netherlands. Whilst in Amsterdam he will be conducting comparative research on the law of lease under the supervision of Prof. Marco Loos.
