On 4 February - in connection with the Dutch presidency of the EU - a workshop on the European Commission's proposal for new contract law rules for the Digital Single Market is organised by the CSECL and Access Europe at the Eye Film Institute, Amsterdam.
|Start date||4 February 2016|
|End date||24 November 2015|
With the Dutch presidency of the EU beginning in January 2016 and the European Commission’s proposal for new contract law rules for the Digital Single Market, with a special focus on the acquisition by consumers of digital content, this workshop intends to bring together European and Dutch stakeholders to discuss the feasibility and desirability of these new rules in their proposed scope and form.
The symposium will be held in the IJ-lounge room at the Eye Film Institute.
Visiting address: IJpromenade 1, 1031KT Amsterdam.
If you travel by car, please note that if using GPS navigation, you should enter ‘Tolhuisweg 5’, because many navigation systems have trouble finding the ‘IJpromenade’. You may also make use of the parking place Oosterdok (the first 5 hours € 1,50 per 20 minutes. After 5 hours (until 24 hours parking) a fixed fee € 12,-).
Take the free ferry behind the Central Station (direction 'Buiksloterweg'). The institute is on the left when you step off the ferry (big white building).
The workshop is a closed meeting and free of charge, but if you are interested in attending, please contact Yvonne ter Horst at firstname.lastname@example.org.
