The European Private Law Masters invites you to the next ‘Brown Bag Lunch on Legal Professions’, this time themed ‘Working for EU Institutions’. The event series aims at bringing current students of the programme and at the Amsterdam Law School in touch with a diverse range of legal practitioners in an informal setting over lunch. The events are organized by the student-run ‘Brown Bag Lunch Committee’.

The event will feature three speakers with working experience in different EU institutions, Tania Dimou (formerly Robert Schuman trainee at the European Parliament, Committee IMCO and currently working as an Administrator in the same institution), Sylwia Kalaska (former Bluebook trainee at the European Commission, DG Competition law), and Dr. Silvia Kotanidis (lawyer and policy analyst in the Citizens' Policies Unit of the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) of the European Parliament), who will share tips and tricks on the application process for traineeships and, more generally, their experiences in working for the EU institutions. It will be an interactive session with a lot of room for student questions. This event is open to all on Canvas.

The students on the ‘Brown Bag Lunch Committee’ which put this event together are: Axelle Gysemans, Bas van den Berg, Marnie Suhr, Suzan Salama, and Sylvia Suhonen.
